Watched Hrishida's Satyakaam yesterday. It has been more than 5 years when a cousin had told me that the way I am proceeding in life, I will end up like Dharmendra of Satyakaam.
I am no Satyapriya (Dharmendra) and I gave up the desire to be Satyapriya long back. However, it should not be mistaken that I deride the Satyapriyas around or think they are fools or insensible people. The plight of a Satyapriya is a constant reminder of the basic contradiction of life and the society we live in. That a Satyapriya cannot survive in our society is not to be mistaken as the failure of the satyapriya, but the failure of our society to inhabit a Satyapriya...
As I said, I gave up the desire to be a Satyapriya long back, I desire now to make a society where another individual does not have to compromise his stance to be a Satyapriya...

True. It is indeed the failure of the society that we are living in.
I just watched the movie and I am deeply affected by it. I won't say that it would change the way I go about living my life but it has definitely left an everlasting impression on my mind. We all need our idols, don't we? Even if they are on reel and not real.
